Return and Refund

At Echo Surveying, we’re committed in supplying high-performance surveying equipment designed for accuracy, reliability, and field-ready use. Your satisfaction is our priority, while we aim to deliver exceptional service every time, we understand that returns may occasionally be necessary. This policy outlines the terms and process for returning equipment.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the equipment must have been purchased directly from Echo Surveying, and the request for return must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Additionally, the item should remain unused, uninstalled, and unaltered in any way. It is also essential that all original packaging, along with cables, manuals, accessories, and calibration certificates, be included with the returned product.

Return Categories

Returns are categorized based on the type of equipment purchased.

For new equipment, returns are accepted within 30 days provided the item is unopened and unused. However, a 15% restocking fee may apply, and shipping as well as insurance charges are non-refundable.

Refurbished equipment, which has been thoroughly inspected, serviced, and certified by our technicians, may also be returned within 30 days—but only if it fails to perform as described. In such cases, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied, depending on the condition of the item upon return, and refunds are issued only after our quality control team completes an evaluation.

Meanwhile, used equipment sales are considered final due to the sensitive nature of precision instruments. Exceptions are made only if the item was damaged during transit or if the product is significantly not as described. Any such issues must be reported within 7 business days and supported by documentation such as photos, an unboxing video, or a test report.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are considered non-returnable and cannot be accepted for return under any circumstances. This includes products clearly marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable,” as well as calibrated or certified tools that have been used or tampered with in any way. Software licenses and digital products that have already been activated are also ineligible for return. Additionally, custom or special-order configurations tailored to specific needs cannot be returned. Consumables such as batteries or reflectors are non-returnable once they have been opened.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive damaged goods or an incorrect item, it’s important to contact our team within three business days of delivery. When reaching out, be sure to include your Order Number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photo or video evidence to support your claim. Once the issue is verified, we will promptly arrange for a replacement or issue a Return Authorization (RA). In situations involving confirmed shipping damage or fulfillment errors, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Exchange Policy

We offer product exchanges based on availability, and customers interested in making an exchange should contact us within 30 days of receiving their order. If the exchange request is approved, we will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number along with detailed instructions to complete the process.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund. If the return is approved, the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days and issued through your original method of payment. Please note that shipping, handling, and insurance fees are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error or damage during shipping.

How to Start a Return

To begin the return process, simply email us at [support@echosurveying.com] and include your Order Number, the reason for your return, and any relevant photos or videos if applicable.

After we review your request, you’ll receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) along with detailed instructions for sending the item back. Make sure to ship the product to the provided return address with the RA# clearly marked on the package.

For your protection, especially when returning high-value equipment, we strongly recommend using a trackable courier service and insuring the shipment.
