Creaform HandySCAN BLACK is a high performance, metrology grade optical laser 3D scanner, the Accuracy of 0.035 mm (0.0014 in) and a scanning speed of 800,000 measurements per second can be achieved. Creaform HandySCAN BLACK is the newest generation of the HandySCAN 3D highlights multiple blue laser technology, upgraded optics, and powerful algorithms for accurate, and quick instant measurements. The Creaform HandySCAN BLACK offers accurate, high resolution and repeatable results regardless of the quality of measurement configuration, environmental changes or part movement.

Creaform HandySCAN BLACK main features

  • VXelements: this plug-and-play 3D scanner comes with dedicated, proprietary software that includes scan-to-CAD and dimensional inspection modules. It’s also possible to use third-party software suites from Autodesk, 3D Systems, Dassault, etc.
  • Live mesh: the 3D scanner allows for optimal visualization while scanning to make sure users can see the scan progress capture the surface needed.
  • VXremote (optional): users looking for an easy setup may opt for Creaform’s tablet interface for an additional cost.
  • MaxSHOT 3D (optional): this optical coordinate add-on provides enhanced accuracy and speed for larger parts.

The HandySCAN BLACK is a high performance, metrology grade optical laser 3D scanner. It is automatically positioned by means of positioning targets. Accuracy of 0.025 mm and a scanning speed of 1.300.000 measurements/s can be achieved. Easy to handle, it is light and compact, weighs less than 1 kg and can be conveniently transported in its safety case.

You can use the manufacturer's proprietary software called VXelements, it combines all the essential tools you need from data acquisition to CAD software, in a user-friendly, simplified and sleek working environment. This 3D scanner is also compatible with a wide range of other software.
