Topcon HiPer SR GNSS Receiver offers two options of communication between base and rover.  Intergrade license-free LongLink Bluetooth radio is perfect for smaller sites, or optional cellular connection allows this the unit to be a long-range receiver utilizing Topcon Magnet Relay.  Many users prefer to use the SR as a Network rover as it is so small and light.  You can also combine it with a robotic total station system, to create a Hybrid solution ready for any environment. With an integrated cellular modem, the new HiPer SR becomes an extended GNSS range site receiver and can be used in a variety of setup including MAGNET Relay, Network, and LongLinkTM. While bringing flexibility, the HiPer SR Cellular configuration still provides superior performance at an affordable price.

The Topcon HiPer SR is an entry-level receiver that tracks both GPS and GLONASS satellites.  Like all Topcon receivers, it is made in the USA with a durable aluminum alloy shell and IP67 waterproof rating.  It can withstand a 1m drop or 2 m pole drop.  No matter what your site conditions are, the SR can handle it.

The SR can be used in a base rover set with Topcon’s interference-free Longlink communication.  This allows connection from 300 m (1000 ft) making it an optimal site receiver.  Other applications include using the SR as a rover in a base station network using cellular connections, or using a base and rover with cellular and Topcon’s Magnet relay.  This allows RTK ranges of up to 35 km.  This unit also pairs with the Topcon R4T-BT radio to make a low-cost addition to any Topcon UHF receiver.

The HiPer SR is a great way to get into GPS/GNSS GeoPositioning.  Whether you are a surveyor needing positioning options, a contractor looking to set up work sites, or even an MEP contractor looking to layout, the HiPer SR is an easy way to start.
